"Outstanding choir, beautiful tone quality, great diction, SUPERB TRAINING. Very Impressive and artistic performance." These were the high words of praise from adjudicator Gene Brooks, who is the National Director of American Choral Directors Association.

When acknowledging Mia, Dr. Brooks proclaimed, "Very Talented Director!! Good conducting technique, great work between singers and conductor.”

Both Dr. Anton Armstrong and Sigrid Johnson of St. Olaf College were very enthusiastic in their praise of PYC, with Ms. Johnson saying how EVERYTHING is here, the performance level, the artistry, the voices.

Weston Noble, internationally known conductor and conductor of the Nordic Choir of Luther College, commented on the great musicianship of PYC. He used our singers as a model to the entire festival when demonstrating how to sing, commenting that he wished there were more choirs like Pacific Youth Choir.

June 2004: Coro Pacifica was the host choir at PICCFEST, Pacific International Children’s Choir Festival, where the theme was "Imagine."
